Pros
The people that you work with on a day to day basis are great. They hire just about anyone from any background so you'll get to know many different types of people. Also, they will sell you on "schedule flexibility" which in a sense is true. You don't ever need to ask off. Just beg your fellow reps to cover for you.
Cons
Where to start? 1. You will drive a lot! Period. 2. If you want to make decent money. You better work everyday. Although, they will sell (ie:lie) to you during the interview process and tell you how easy it is. Not quite. Some of the top reps in the market will literally take off one or two days......A MONTH. 3. Management is structured with people who are there because they are frat bro's with the owner and they make a butt-load of money while you starve to death. 4. The reps are all 100% commission so they load up each store with twice an many reps than is needed. It doesn't cost them a dime so why not fill up the stores with guys in ties. 5. ZERO chance of advancement! There is nowhere to go. I could go on but this should be enough for now. The problems mainly stem from poor overall management, inventory problems (seriously, pink??? it's 2012), store staffing, and constant commission cuts from Verizon. Most of the problems are easy to fix but they just don't fix em.
