Pros
Some very good people to work with, very clever people and stimulating people. Offices are close to good population centres. Some offices have nice views from some windows, others don't. Adequate salary, standard benefits. Probably a job for life if you want it.
Cons
Rudderless, not good at winning work, stuck in the past, poor, unimaginative and disconnected management, poor project management. Work they do win is basic and unexciting (just made to feel complex due to random project mangement changes). Too many contractors in positions of seniority, career development and training is pretty non-existent unless you are liked. There is a focus on delivery over work-life balance regardless of what the MD says and a definite feel of a clique at levels of senior management that filter the real feelings and issues of the staff. Change is always in the "too difficult" box and dragged out so much that it never really happens before the next great initiative comes along. Lots of company values that just get ignored as they get in the way of delivery, but look good on leaflets. Staff are veiwed as a resource to deploy today, not people to develop for the future.
