      Great place to learn sales and leadership - Sales Development Leader Catalyst Leadership Group Employee Review

      Pros

      I took six months off from college and worked here during the winter and spring semester, and i really loved the opportunity. I had no sales experience when i joined the team at CLG, and left with so much more of an understanding of the sales industry. My major is centered around business/marketing and In three years in college i haven't learned as much as i did at Catalyst Leadership Group. Some of their core values are integrity, culture and team focus, as well as providing a great work environment and they came through on all of those. When i graduate this winter i will definitely keep them in mind.

      Cons

      I really don't see it as a negative, but if you don't want to work hard don't apply here. This job for sure requires you to do more than your average 9-5 desk/office job will. My parents raised me with a very strong work ethic, and i played sports from the age i could walk throughout high school. If i wanted to earn any sort of captain or leadership role on those teams i had to practice longer and work harder than everyone else on the team. CLG awards their team members with bonuses and promotions based on the work they put in. Again, if you are afraid of hard work this role probably isn't for you.

      Pros

      If I could, I would give CLG 10/5 stars. I have never been more supported, loved on, and included in my work environment until I started here. Management truly strives to help you hit your goals and pushed you to stay on track. Micheal genuinely pushes, challenges, and shares so much valuable knowledge. I honestly am so grateful for this opportunity, and I finally got out of an endless cycle of hoping from serving job to serving job. I now have 1, 5, 10 year goals, which I have NEVER had before. The culture is unmatched, everyone helps mentor you so you have the best odds of succeeding in this role. I always thought sales was sleazy people selling you things you would never use or chose to invest your money into. They changed my perception on sales; they teach you how to communicate and build strong relationships with clientele. I got promoted into a role where I can continue to grow and help others like me change their lives. If they give you the opportunity to work here. TAKE IT.

      Cons

      Honest to God, I do not have any. Compensation structure is built to help you make the most money starting out. Hours are great you get to work 40 hours and more if you chose to do so. Culture like I said is unmatched. We truly are a big family from every place you could dream of and every background. Youll never have another job where the people care about you as much as CLG does.
