Management needs to be reevaluated - Anonymous employee Catalent Pharma Employee Review

Pros

Good vacation package and benefits

Cons

Management needs to be reevaluated. They claim to be patient first but the last year has proven otherwise. They are more concerned with their stakeholders than they are about their clients or their employees. They need to update their mission statement because the current one is a joke. Upper management especially Anibal and Sunil are degrading to employees. They do not listen, interrupt, and talk over their employees all the time. Every single person is burnt out and there seems to be no end in sight. The replies from Catalent in any of these reviews is the same copy and paste statement with absolutely no changes what so ever. The last minute layoffs and secretive actions have caused major distrust between employees and management. Employees have no trust at all in this company.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

Adequate amount of PTO and suitable medical benefits and 401K. Co-workers were helpful and good resources when needed.

Cons

Difficult to receive promotions, as site GM, HR, and Global have to approve. No/very small annual increases. Departments need to hire additional support; again, difficult to get management and global to approve, thus a lot of turnover. Site directors/managers had conflicts between departments. Some would intentionally undermine other department heads if it suited their interest. Two directors have personal relationship, which seems to be conflict of interest.
