Cardinal is very work/life balance focused as a company. Management stresses the importance of time management for the sake of personal enjoyment and workplace success. Remote work options for those available to do so. This includes assignment of the technology needed to be successful from remote locations. Upper-level management is available to employees when issues arise. An open door policy for most portfolio managers and senior managers is normal. Highly organized and capable support staff that make property management easier for both portfolio managers and on-site personnel. Emphasis placed on IT improvements and responsible implementation of technology. While not everything is state of the art, many things are optimized to make work easier and improve efficiency. Friendly and helpful team at the corporate office.
Cons
Woodbridge office is somewhat out of the way (but the commute is opposite regular commuter traffic) relative to NoVA. Salary and compensation should be addressed more frequently in response to recent economic changes.
