Pros
When I walked in to CarDash, I'll admit - I was extremely hesitant about this internship. I had talked to my future manager and was worried because 1 - I was one of two women, 2 - my job title was going to be very broad, and 3 - I knew nothing about the industry. That being said, 11 weeks later, I'm so glad that I interned here. I've had an incredible opportunity to grow this summer - both professionally and socially. I was able to get a bunch of experience with all aspects of CarDash and with a business in general (marketing, engineering, growth, customer service, operations, etc) even though my official title was Sales and Marketing Intern. I truly felt like I was a part of the CarDash team and I highly encourage anyone who wants the opportunity to dive in, get their hands dirty, and learn so much about everything to take a position here at CarDash.
Cons
Little to none. Their culture values disagreement, speaking your mind, and freedom, and all of those values really resonated strongly with me. If those values don't resonate with you, maybe think again about working here - for me, it was a challenge and one that I welcomed gladly. Don't be afraid to make your voice heard - there is some preferential treatment, but don't worry, once you make your voice heard, no one will doubt you or your talents - they value success and results more than anything else. One issue that I did have - I would have liked the pay to be a bit more.
