Pros

Everyone here is motivated, smart, and ready to take on the toughest challenges. You’ll be working with people who care about solving real problems and moving the green transition forward. Our product is highly innovative, and we’re proud to be the Nordics’ leading BESS optimizer. We also like to have fun, with things like an annual football tournament, team weeks, summer and Christmas get-togethers, plus extra days off each year to relax. Hours and location of work are flexible, and as the company grows quickly, there is also lots of room to learn new things and take on more responsibility.

Cons

As any startup does, the company moves fast and sets ambitious goals. It suits self-motivated people who thrive in dynamic environments. Those who need more structure or predictability might find the pace challenging.

Pros

The company's mission is extremely important and is a huge source of motivation in growing the company. Capalo's role in driving the energy transition forward has already been significant so far, even though in a way this is only the beginning. It makes the work meaningful to know you're doing something that has a real impact. There's also a lot of energy in the team, and colleagues are very talented and great to work with.

Cons

The company is growing so fast that it creates some growing pains, which is to be expected. Some processes are still finding their shape and being defined, but that's a natural part of this stage of growth.

Pros

Capalo is a great place to work if you want responsibility, ownership and the chance to build systems that have a real impact. In my day-to-day work, I get to work closely with both the product and the underlying data infrastructure, which makes the work feel meaningful and technically interesting. There is a strong culture of trust, and people are given room to take initiative, learn quickly and contribute beyond a narrow job description. I also appreciate the flexibility, open communication and the fact that the company’s mission in the energy sector is easy to get behind.

Cons

As with many fast-growing startups, processes and ways of working are still developing. Priorities can shift quickly and the pace can sometimes feel intense. This also means that you need to be comfortable with uncertainty, taking ownership and solving problems without everything being fully defined in advance.
