      Pros

      Canson is a long established market leader in fine art materials. Great people with a good reputation with both customers and suppliers.

      Cons

      Owned by French company, Hamelin Brands. In my experience they don't understand the US market (Walmart rules), nor have any sense of urgency in meeting customer and market demands. Local management needs better focus and organization. Need more SAP training.

      Pros

      Good people to work with in a good atmosphere. Benefits and salary are good. Free coffee; folks bring homemade goodies.

      Cons

      People management skills levels are low. Autonomy is limited; everything must be "checked out with France". Some US-overseas policy conflicts.
