Pros
Very interesting, challenging and diverse set of activities. Definitely not boring. Long hours, sometime weekends - all overtime is paid. If you are part of field service/support, expect extended trips - sometimes to overseas.
Cons
Lots of turn-around. There are plenty of politics going on. When work level is low, many people are laid off. Take a look at the company's website. From the group shown there probably half are not there anymore. Field support personnel can be in the field for very extended period of time which is hard on families. Many will quit because of that.
