Pros
Most of the people left from the old company, prior to being acquired by Calamp, were good people.
Cons
Pretty much everything I can think of. I worked at Synovia Solutions, which was acquired by Calamp in 2019. Calamp proceeded to fire 80% of our staff, with no clear communication or reasons as to why. I still don't know understand why exactly they bought our company, and whenever I would ask that question I never received a clear answer from anyone. When we were acquired, we had about 120 employees. When I finally left Calamp, we were down to less than 30 from the original company. Hallmarks of Calamp are subpar or nonexistent communication from upper management, vague to nonexistent strategy, and firing of any and all employees with any product knowledge. Knowledgeable people were replaced by useless seat fillers making half the money who possessed none of the knowledge or skills of the people they were hired to replace. Many of these people did absolutely nothing . Of course the company was so poorly managed that they could get away with doing nothing for literally weeks at a time. I could go on, but I don't have time to document everything wrong with this place.
