      Pros

      There is a wide variety of areas from Special Agents to Real Estate. Benefits are great with Railroad Retirement, 401k, and pension.

      Cons

      With the wide variety of areas it can be difficult to changes departments. The hiring process can be very slow.

      - everything is changing quickly with upper leadership and budget cuts leaving departments strained

      Pros

      Fair minded and supportive management. Not directly involved in RR management, so did not have the same hours or demands as many do.

      Cons

      None really--large publicly held company. Working on a contract basis, so can't speak to benefits.
