Pros
CMap has been a breath of fresh air compared to my previous companies in terms of how they look after their people from a well being perspective. My Manager, as well as the wider SLT, are incredibly supportive, even when we don’t necessarily agree on the same topics. I always feel like I have a voice, which is so important as a female within the tech industry. Progression is what you make it here. If you are motivated you can strive and succeed. I’m involved in meetings with senior leadership and develop my skill set with the managerial training provided. But the best part is that they at happy to trust you and let you try new approaches and ideas, even with less experience than other managers. I think this is the reason so many people stick around which also makes my life easier consistently working people I know well and can rely on.
Cons
As a small business, the benefits package could be better. The pension in particular is not a good offering and other things such as maternity leave could be improved.
