Pros

You will learn A LOT about how to become a better sales person in this tough competitive sales environment. You will acquire relationships with your coworkers and managers. The management is very relaxed here because they do not have to over manage you. Your sales goals will force you to work hard anyway. Free coffee and free food on special holidays. Discounts on items at the cafe. You will grow stronger as a person as you learn how to increase your sales and hit their goals for services. It is easy to become a manager if you go into the M.I.T program. There is room to climb up the ladder if you want to. There is pretty good flexibility on the schedule and if you have an emergency or need to switch shifts, it is easy to do so. Uniform allows room for personal style preferences. There is a community environment that they strive to create. Very hands-on and friendly CEO and upper management for the most part. Paychecks can be good here if you work hard.

Cons

LONNNGGGGG hours. LIMITED personal time. Hard to build relationships outside of work. You will have to occasionally come in on your days off and work extra hours to hit goals and make a decent income. Management is helpful but they feel pressure from STILL having to hit relatively high sales goals while being managers. I have never seen this policy in any other company so found that odd. I found myself feeling empathetic toward them at times. You will have days where you do not want to come to work. You will feel like your never going to sell again after going through the occasional dry spell. You will feel pressured. You will have moments where you want to scream from customers crazy antics and (often) unnecessary outbursts. You will have days where you lose hope in humanity (however there days where you gain hope too!). When an item mysteriously goes into back-order THE DAY it was supposed to be delivered and your entire check gets cut in half from a cancellation, you will be beyond angry (though they are apparently working on this). When items that should be in stock are not in stock and coming in the next 10 years (exaggerating but still), and you miss out on a 5 or 10 grand sale, you will want to scream at corporate OR pull your hair our, whichever comes first. You will feel underpaid for the work you put in at times. You will have moments where you question your friendships and relations with your coworkers when they steal a customer right under your nose or they have a customer come in on your day off and ASK to give you credit for part of the sale and you find out that the coworker did not do it. You will question their morality. If doesn't matter if you've been there 3 months or 10 years, if you do not hit sales goals, your job will be in jeopardy. You will be fired. However, this is understood upon getting hired so you know this going in hence the pressure and anxiety that can occasionally saturates the air.

Pros

2020 and maybe 21,22 were good after it all went down hill (thanks to AH )

Cons

Everyone is related , friends , family etc. HR is all friends with eveyone there for you cannot be taken serious . So many talented associates leave because they are forced out due to personal preference. Turn over company wide they say is low. However the location I worked in 80 precent of people were 6 month or under ! Yikes !!! Management does not know how to keep and lead their team , instead they micro manage , make up new rules that they do not follow after a few weeks and they always seem stressed. Oh and bonus program is constantly restructured . They present it as new opportunities however it’s really for them to pay less. This company always pays very low percentage and you have to jump through hoops that are on fire to make a bonus. And I wasn’t some employee who worked 6 months and quit. I was someone making 90k yearly for several years. This is just a reality. Higher management needs traning asap. And insurance gets worse every year !
