Pros
I've had the pleasure of being hired for City Furniture now for the second time. The first time i was very young and for one reason or another quickly abandoned the many opportunities that were presented to me; however, in my time away from the company i have matured and had hopes for a second chance. It may have taken sometime because of my specific situation; but, my recruiter Nickey Ellis took the time to get to know me as an individual and not just turn me away for the poor decision that i made prior. After a very engaging and comprehensive interview process i was presented with another opportunity to work for this amazing company. No other company that i have ever worked for has shown more value for their employees than City Furniture. When the President and C.O.O. of the company personally welcome you and your fellow new associates with warm words as well as encourage questions and ideas from you it feels like i joined more than just a company but more like I'm now apart of the City Furniture FAMILY, which is a term i hear all the time in the building when Associates refer to one another. - Challenges individuals to meet goals in and out of work. -Incentives galore - Takes time training associates based on their personal learning styles. - Generous pay while training. - Opportunity to determine your salary
