- It was a fully remote position.
Cons
- The company practices blatant discrimination: at the Toronto office, mostly Brazilian employees are hired and retained. - Communication is conducted often in Portuguese, systematically excluding non-Brazilian employees. (Again, location Toronto! The roles do not require Portuguese knowledge) - All employees who were not Brazilian were terminated, with no severance, no warning, no performance review, and no feedback. - Layoffs were done without cause and handled in an extremely sneaky and disrespectful manner. - Management behaves dishonestly, disrespectfully, and unprofessionally toward employees.
