Pros
The former COO, David Cich, was a dream to work for! He was honest, hard-working, motivating and inspiring! He expected the best from his employees while at the same time expecting even better from himself. He created a work culture that caused employees to want to work as hard as they could because they genuinely liked their boss and knew that their hard work would be rewarded. Working for the company was a pleasure until Mr. Cich left to start his own business.
Cons
After David Cich left CET Color, the owner and President, Ernie Chin, was left scrambling. His motto was profit over everything else. In business, profit must be key because otherwise you won't succeed. While I understand that, when you treat your employees as if they are disposable, then they don't have motivation or drive to work hard. They become resentful and burned out, and if employees aren't happy then eventually customers will become unhappy as well. So if a person's primary concern is to create a positive, inspiring work environment that gives incentives for employees to perform well, then customers are naturally treated better which keeps their business, which increases referrals, which ultimately increases the business's profit. When David Cich left, the soul of CET Color left with him.
