Pros
1) This is not a boring, tedious internship. The more ambition and talent you put into your work, the more opportunities you will be given.
2) As an intern I was assigned to an associate and various clients depending on my schedule. I was required to attend weekly client meetings and take minutes, but also to contribute my ideas and knowledge.
3) I wrote press releases, created media kits, even assisted clients at the news stations during their televised segments.
4) If you're friendly, you will be welcomed with open arms. The atmosphere is very similar to a family.
5) Depending on who the clients are at the time, you will get invited to a lot of amazing events and special "media only" openings
6) They were extremely flexible with my schedule.
Cons
1) Having a car is almost necessary. I guess this isn't really a con unless you're car-less.
2) Interns should not expect to get paid
3) Your email will overflow. You must check it constantly.
