Pros
There is no good reason to work at CDN Logistics.
Cons
I began working at this company in January of 2024. At the time Chicago was in the middle of a winter storm. None of the company's trucks had the engine block heater plugged in. I spent a full day waiting for batteries to put into a truck so I could take it for a road test. An HR representative told me she would email me a list of items to bring for my orientation, but I was the only person in my orientation class who received such an email. The company's on-site maintenance department does not operate on Saturday or Sunday. Unfortunately, I ignored all these "red flags." The equipment provided to employees is extremely poor quality. I was assigned a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia with approximately 750,000 miles on it. The coolant level sensor in my truck failed. I have experienced numerous hub seal leaks on my drive axles. I have also had to replace my fuel crossover line two times. Each time I lost power while driving down the road. The second time I had to replace the line I was left stranded in a ditch for over four hours until someone arrived to assist me.
