Pros

Flexible with scheduling and time off. If you don't have any background it's a good place to start.

Cons

Extremely low wages considering they are located in the Bay Area. HR needs to be improved. Poor work environment, especially for the younger staff. A lot of work politics and drama. Lack of growth and learning.

Thank you for the feedback. I would like to talk with you directly so that I can hear your specific concerns and try to address them. We have a professional, friendly and open workplace where everyone has a voice, and all supervisors, HR and the CEO truly have open doors. I have spent many hours chatting 1:1 with staff and I'm glad to do so. We have year-round culture events as additional opportunities to connect with your colleagues, as well as community-service events to give back externally. We encourage ongoing conversations with your supervisor about your learning path and career path, and to use our tuition assistance benefit. We are a lean team passionate about and focused on the science and research, and we all work together to that end, so there's actually very little politics here at CCSA. As teams grow, the processes and practices also need to evolve. We pay fair wages, provide comprehensive health insurance at no cost to you, education assistance, 401K, PTO, flexibility, and we really do care about your career path and will partner with you on that.
