Unsupportive work environment in which the office politics is full of backstabbing, hidden agendas, and Nepotistic staffing - people holding positions who have no business holding those positions other than on who they know or what higher-up likes them. Far too many managers with no real managerial, nor leadership skills. Management routinely blaming lower-level employees for their ineptitude. IT staff not AT ALL supported and never listened to about long-standing IT issues. The company has NO real intention on actually bringing temps on permanently. In fact, on more than a few occasions I witnessed temps promised to be brought on full-time only to have their contracts terminated abruptly. Permanent employees don’t really bother getting to know temps too much as they know they won’t be there long, so much so that that reality it’s an open secret and the source of empty bets among permanent employees.
