Pros

Good Team environment as we are very small team and cool atmosphere.

Cons

Our HR department has recently implemented a strict policy requiring everyone to follow the 9 to 6 work hours. Since then, management has been closely monitoring time, and there's a heightened focus on punctuality. There have been multiple instances where we’ve had to rush just to punch in before 9:15 AM, and if we're even a minute late, we’re required to explain ourselves. This applies to the team leads and managers as well, who are seen scrambling to clock in on time. While we understand that adhering to company policy is important, the reality is that our team often works well beyond 6 PM, sometimes staying until 7:30 or even 8 PM, to meet our targets. We’re regularly working on weekends, public holidays, and during festivals, but there are no overtime benefits or additional perks for these extra hours. Additionally, we’re not given the option to work from home, unlike other departments like IT. For those considering joining, I’d advise you to carefully evaluate your preferences. If you're looking for a job if flexibility is important to you, or if you want a role with more balance, you might want to consider alternatives. If you're new or unsure of your skills, this team could work for you as the high level manager so kind and doesn’t typically dismiss underperforming employees nor take any action. In fact, they often assign simpler tasks to those who doesn't show interest in learning, and shifting the workload to other team members those who works sincerely. after all efforts we put and we aren't getting a single day WFH. Our manager told that HR is not allowing WFH.

CAMP Systems Response

CAMP is an IT & ITES company with many engineering divisions (Strength of close to 800 employees) and only 1 team at CAMP works on weekends and festivals, for which OVERTIME ALLOWANCE is paid for employees below Lead levels and for individual contributors above leads, coming to meetings only managers are part of the late evening meetings here and they are given flexibility which is utilized. Speaking about Work from Home, the nature of work in this particular team does not permit it but as an exception it is provided on health and medical reasons which is also utilized. At CAMP, employees are never denied to utilize their leaves. So, this feedback doesn’t seem to be accurate.

Pros

Stable job opportunity if you can handle covering for everyone that calls out and all the pissed off customers yelling at you. They will not fire you as long as you show up and do the minimum.

Cons

In addition to the avalanche of work that can't possibility be managed, Camp Systems will not allot pay raises other than a 3% annual. I now take home less than I started with 3 years ago due to the increase in employer paid benefits. Turnover is atrocious and you will make up the difference with the workload on a daily bases. Working early shifts, late shift, and weekends. Covering for other office locals when employees are out, which is quite often. Senior employees are rewarded job performance while junior employees are often brow beat by the Senior's for speaking up or asking questions.
