Pros
- CAIS colleagues are A++. There are some fantastic people that work here. - Remote capabilities cannot be beaten. It's awesome that we're empowered to work from wherever.
Cons
- Success and upward mobility at the firm entirely hinge on who is your manager manager. As many people have pointed out there's a strong culture of favoritism and bro-y camaraderie between those who have stuck around long enough. This is particularly true for the COO and his little clique. Unless you have a manager who is willing to proactively advocate for your advancement many really hard working and smart people stay stuck where they are.
