Pros
Many roles have lots of flexibility in regards to work/life balance and there is lots of education and trainging available.
Cons
Promotion processes are woeful - 6 months from start to end and once a year. If you're not in the US then career paths can be limited. Focused very hard on moving everything in the right direction - products, customer expereience, employee satisfaction, etc but still trying to fix the same problems from 10 years ago. Regular layoffs very dispiriting.
