Pros
- Great mission. - Very inspiring and experience founder CEO. - Remote first company. - Good culture. - Multitude of programming languages, frameworks, 3rd party tools, integration patterns etc..
Cons
- Business have been struggling in the last couple of years, aprox 4 layoffs (on average 1 per year) - Great engineers, but very weak tech leadership (Directors, VPs). - Too much complexity on their tech stack and way too much technical debt has not been addressed for way too long. - Salary is on the low end of the market and merit increase is minimal or non-existent year over year. - Overall, very weak and immature software development processes and practices.
