-Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days at home. -Workload is manageable. -Superiors are friendly and accomodative. -Salary and benefits are superior compared to BPOs since this company is in-house. -Colleagues are of similar age, young and energetic (less than 40 years old). -Bonus available and based on your performance rating. Highest is 3 months, above average around 2 months and average is 1 month. -Company seldom gives tech gifts around festive season (Raya, CNY, Christmas).
Cons
-Higher management are very indecisive, decisions are made on the fly and frequently change. -A role that does not have any transferable skills if you were to apply for other companies. The longer you stay here, the longer you are stuck here. -BPO companies are the only alternatives but it is still hard to get since too many candidates. BPOs are worse in terms of salary and benefits. -No career progression since they made other roles that we can jump to redundant. (Some seniors of more than 5 years of experience saw this and jumped to other industries). Dont be surprised if you are stuck in this role for more than 5 years. -Many roles in this company are specialized and would not be found anywhere else in other companies. -Poor management of layoffs.
