Pros

There are no pros to this job aside that it is remote

Cons

Organization, Constant turnover, zero in-house knowledge of development, cultish, overbearing and micromanging CEO, no benefits, no paid time off, salary is based off 37.5 hour work week but you work 50+ hours, constant policy changes. It's literally a dumpster fire.

Pros

Imagine a workplace that’s all about injecting fun into the serious side of tech—while really caring about everyone from the team to the clients. Offering the sweet deal of remote work, it syncs up beautifully with how I want to live my life. It's cool to connect with a variety of clients and team members worldwide, which definitely keeps things interesting. What I really like is endless opportunity for personal growth. Being with a company that rides the tech tide means my skills never stop evolving. This team encourages innovation and personal growth—something I looked long and hard for.

Cons

The flexibility of working from any nook and cranny of the world is definitely a pro but can come with some logistical gymnastics, especially around syncing up our clocks for collaboration. Nailing down a meeting time can be a bit like herding cats. But, overcoming these challenges just highlights our team's ability to adapt and excel, transforming potential setbacks into victories of resourcefulness and connectivity :)

Pros

You can work anywhere, anytime. It's the ultimate remote work job. You just have to be available for some meetings during business hours a couple times a week. Their clients are really interesting companies too. The CEO takes a lot of initiative with trying out different productivity methods and personality tests. You can also get hired without much experience and will be trained.

Cons

Not enough support for new employees. I'd be told not to ask too many questions to the CEO because she was so busy (under the guise of "try figuring it out on your own before asking questions"), but then got reprimanded when I'd make mistakes. I felt like I was walking on eggshells around the CEO. The main issue I have with the company is that I was let go without being told I was let go. It was the ultimate passive aggressive way to get rid of someone. I was told I'd be moved to a different department that was a better fit, and then when I followed up after a couple of weeks I was told, "Oh sorry, it's just been so busy, we'll have a spot for you in a couple weeks!" and never heard from her again.
