Pros

Great company and family atmosphere. Friendly coworkers are very helpful and easy to get along with. Management is flexible and easy to work with. Most of the phone system issues have been resolved!! Good medical and other company perks. Hard work is rewarded with monthly bonuses. $$$ Great hands on experience with all kinds of technology as each client has different server and network setups. Exposure to all kinds of software and hardware make for very well rounded techs which is great for ones career in IT. No bureaucracy, management is very accessible. Interesting multi state clients and large projects.

Cons

Can sometimes get stressful with juggling multiple tickets or projects. Rotation of weekend pager duty.

Pros

This is a great place to work. First and foremost environment is very friendly and welcoming. It gets stressful at times, but everyone is pulling their weight and happy to assist if you hit a hurdle. Our team is pretty diverse, but every person is valued and respected regardless of race, gender or creed. Friendliest place I ever worked at, people take lunches together, hangout after work, nerf battles once in a while, no one is ostracised. Management is very reasonable; they do want best from us, but at the same time they do want what best for us as well, very considerate in my experience. In every IT support job dealing with clients considered as one of the worst aspects, but not at BCT. Most clients know that they will be taken care of and fairly relaxed when they call or open a ticket. Once in awhile you will get a person that's frustrated, but that's rare; typically a new client or someone with a deadline. Our management spends a lot of time and effort building a relationship with our customers and that in turn reflects on how they are dealing with us. I remember my boss saying “We don't want just fix the issues, every month our client should be better off than the month before” stuck with me. Honesty is another thing that makes me very comfortable working at BCT, I’ve seen places where you have to work against your conscience; over-bill or lie to clients, not here, everything is above board. Truly a best place I ever worked at.
