Pros

Overall the company feels welcoming and supportive. The owner is very nice. The supervisors are realistic and ask about my opinion and take my thoughts seriously. There is a lot of opportunities to learn and get help. Supervisors will help and are easy to get a hold of. It is really rewarding work. Supervisors and owner really care and are easy to talk to and make you feel important and like they care about everyone. Co-workers are really nice and friendly. It feels like it is okay to not be perfect and like it is okay to be learning.

Cons

It can be hard sometimes. Sometimes there is a lot of driving and sometimes schedules change a lot because clients schedules change. Sometimes you don’t see co-workers often so it can get lonely sometimes. It’s a small business and growing so the benefits aren’t the best and there are sometimes issues like forms that are hard to use and things like that. But it keeps getting better as the company grows.

Pros

The company owner is down to earth and incredibly caring for her staff. She is great at communicating and making sure everyone is taken care of. There is also lots of room for improvement and to grow professionally. I strongly recommend working at Burton Behavioral Interventions.

Cons

This company is starting out so it still not does not have a lot of clients. Therefore, not a lot of hours in the morning are available. It is better for someone seeking a part time position.

Pros

Best employer I have ever had. Extremely helpful, treats all employees with respect and dignity, and extremely responsive to concerns. My supervisor is helping me learn and get my hours as I work toward my BCBA. She is very considerate of scheduling and other needs and encourage growth in supervisees. Offers productive feedback in a kind way that is never belittling. She is very considerate of my schedule as a parent and full time graduate student.

Cons

As an RBT, you may have to drive a lot and hours are based on client needs.
