Pros
All of the employees are in the same miserable boat, so there is a sense of camaraderie. The hours are very nice because you have the entire afternoon to relax and do something for yourself.
Cons
They promised job security and removed doubt of layoffs after getting rid of a great chunk of the company, then recently they laid off 30+ employees again. The pay is well below average for the types of positions that they offer. You are worked very hard, and it was even frowned upon to talk upon your department throughout the day as your boss watches you through a window. If you're solely looking to be hired for insurance benefits, your paycheck will not be large enough to pay for your doctors visits or prescriptions. There is no dental coverage. Overall, management takes advantage of the quality of the individuals that they hire, and those hardworking employees were very rarely appreciated as displayed by the interactions between the upper management. Let them dig themselves out of the hole they have underneath their feet.
