Pros

There are a lot of great people that work here. A lot. Very nice people who are great at their jobs and care about the business. I never met someone at this company that I did not get along with. Not a stressful place to work by any means. The work place is generally relaxed. I generally enjoyed my experience.

Cons

Bulbs.com is interesting because it relies so heavily on its sales staff, but doesn't like to make many investments into other areas. Systems are very behind the times, with no plans to make any upgrades. If you are not in sales or customer service, be prepared to create your own projects. Also, there is a fencing club upstairs, its loud. Very loud. Also, if you are looking for a politically correct work environment, this is not the place for you. At times, the company can be frustrating. Roadblocks in certain departments that keep project from getting done.

Pros

I have met some of the nicest people working here, and the company culture is really great. Relaxed environment, modern office setting, and open cubicles encourage collaboration between staff members. Depending on what "half" of the office you're in (Sales or Marketing), you can collaborate with fellow staff on music Fridays to create a Spotify mix to listen to as the day ensures. I've definitely expanded my music appreciation due to this! Also, there is a neat park across the street that a majority of staff take advantage of during lunch hours.

Cons

It was always extremely cold in the office, which I believe is a flaw that cannot be fixed due to a thermostat issue. Also, there is no reception area, so whoever is closest to the door (and that may be you) will have to address anyone who mistakenly walks into the office wanting to buy lightbulbs, etc. Lastly, the company is fairly small, so there might not be much room to grow in your designated field if you're a newcomer/intern.
