Leaders at the company care. High performing and dedicated team members throughout the company. Interesting product line challenged us to be accurate and creative. Great customers. Builder customers and home owners. Being pushed to grow in my job as products change and the company grew. Being able to talk with employees at all levels, on a first name basis. Overtime often available in some departments. Our call center was the heartbeat for service and logistic needs. Talented team able to think and problem solves everyday that come with the home building industry.

Some times it is hard to find enough workers. The weather! Makes it hard to get everything done. Teamwork helped us take care of our customers.

There are some pretty incredible people that work here. The company is focused on promoting a positive customer service and a positive work environment by striving to live and adhere by the company's core values. Builders Blinds is a growing company with a strong foundation as the Nation's largest blinds provider. Additionally, it is unique for a company of this size to have a CEO who engages with each level and department of the organization. As a company that cares about valuing life and family, this is not a company that you have to take work home with you. Which is great, allowing for a positive work life balance. Everyday employees can participate in a 15 minute walk around the office building and down the block which really helps break up the day, allow for relationship building and bonding with co-workers and move your legs. Additionally, the company promotes a positive work environment and highlights individuals from each department on a monthly basis who have demonstrated the core values in their work ethics.

As a mentioned in the pros, this is a growing company. And with any growing company, there are growing pains. Builders Blinds is expanding into new territories which means there are hurdles to jump in all departments. While there is limited growth opportunity, it is important to understand that new processes and policies with expansion can take time and may change back and forth, be for final decisions are made.
