Demand way too much of you for very very little pay, no benefits. Want you to be fake and overly enthusiastic the entire time, which makes sense but they will get onto you if you don't respond to every child/parent in a fake high pitched voice with a huge smile on your face.. even if the child/parent clearly isnt responding well with that level of enthusiasm. Always nit picking everything you do as if you're getting paid good money.. but in reality they pay you barely above minimum wage. Thought it would be a fun easy job while waiting to get a more serious job but it was actual h e l l. And its always about UPSELLING, and everything is overpriced so you feel bad trying to continuously upsell to a family that clearly doesn't have much money to spare and is just trying to do something nice for their kid. They make you get the kid get all excited for a "scent added to the bear" or new accessories just for the parent to have to say they cant afford it and no over and over again, its embarrassing for the customer and the worker. Its all about money there, not about the children.
