There were once a ton of great people that worked at Buffalo Solar (formally Buffalo Solar Solutions), this was certainly a major highlight of the office. A smaller company that can help you get your foot in the door of renewables. Can make good connections within the industry and local business. Access to company equipment like computers and monitors. Good healthcare plan!

Turnover is incredibly high. Ownership fired the majority of the employees that left the company. This created a very tense atmosphere for everyone else who constantly needed to look over their shoulder, wondering if they would be next. No clear job descriptions. Travel expenses often paid for by the employee. Lots of closed door meetings Ownership unknowingly created a toxic workplace culture driven by a fear of losing ones job. Almost no promotions from within and consistently hired unqualified personnel with no solar experience. This lead to a lot of situations where subordinates were training their bosses on the industry. Infrequent yearly reviews Fear of retaliation from ownership for posting this review is certainly a negative.
