Pros

Salary is above average for Nashville

Cons

The most inefficient, bureaucratic, bloated firm I've ever worked at. Their matter opening and billing software is from 1999. They expect flawless execution with no tools or support to achieve those expectations. Every single process from conflict checks and matter openings to billing and general administrative support is a morass of inefficiency and red tape. Their policies are openly hostile to support staff. Terrible holiday schedule, inflexible with their hybrid policies, and overall just the epitome of the soulless corporate machine run by out of touch boomer executives. This place is exactly why the movie Office Space was made.

Not always the best work-life balance.

Pros

They definitely provide for their employees.

Cons

The public image of this firm does not match the internal reality. While the reviews make it seem like a great place to work, a closer look shows that most of the positive reviews are from former employees, which raises an obvious question. If it was truly that great, why didn’t they stay? Several attorneys struggle with basic communication and professionalism, which directly affects staff and clients. Expectations are high, but guidance, feedback, and responsiveness are inconsistent or nonexistent. This creates unnecessary stress and confusion in day-to-day operations. The office administrator is unapproachable and unsupportive, making it difficult for staff to raise concerns or ask for help. There is little to no support for administrative employees overall, despite them being essential to keeping the office running. Issues are ignored rather than addressed, and accountability is lacking at multiple levels. If you are considering working here, take the glowing reviews with caution and pay attention to how many are written by people who no longer work at the firm. That alone says more than the marketing ever will.
