Specific to the technical accounting group - favoritism, racism, and questionable supervisor subordinate relationships resulting in illogical promotions run rampant in this group. Really makes you wonder whether the degree of politics found in this group is common in other companies as well. Your future in this group depends solely on a few bad apples who engage in management conduct that could potentially serve as grounds for a law suit.
