Pros
- Helpful, dedicated, productive team - Collaborative work style - Challenging, interesting work, many chances to learn something new - Very flexible hours - Friendly managers and CEO, relaxed office environment - Lunch and snacks provided - Competitive pay and benefits The people care about their work and want to help you learn and understand the product. The workload is more about achieving a common goal than completing tasks, and you'll work together to figure out what approach to take to get something done. Managers will not stand over your shoulder while you work, but they like and appreciate your checking in with them and sharing your ideas. They trust that you know what to do, and that you'll ask questions if you don't. You will be constantly learning something new. The company's global market is reflected in its staff, and I like working with such a diverse group of people. The flexibility of working at home or in the office is a plus, though working remotely means you don't get to eat the free lunches or treats, which are pretty good.
Cons
Product release schedules move around a lot, which makes it easy to lose focus on priorities and goals. There are no procedures, so you have to make your own.
