Pros

The job is 100% remote and it’s not hard. You’re “warm calling” members for 8 hours a day. The company is still trying to figure out the best avenues for revenue, so unsure if this team is their top priority. You get 4 free bottles of wine monthly. Great team, everyone is helpful to each other and it’s not a competitive sales team where it’s every man for themselves. Hands off manager (this can be good and bad).

Cons

Limited training-must be a self starter to review new wines. No real set scripts or plans for your week other than to hit your commission goals and talk time to customers. Unsure if this team is a company priority. Lots of turnover in the past 6 months. Goals are changed often and sometimes all of the sudden. Benefits are okay. Only 3 days PTO even though the website says “unlimited PTO” all over it, it’s limited to certain positions. No growth opportunities in first 6 months of job unless management approval, which was told to everyone it wouldn’t be approved until then by manager. Hands off manager: like I said this can be good or bad. In the scenario it’s bad, there’s a lack of communication daily to the team and can feel isolation and lack of motivation. Definitely could do more fun sales-based team activities and contests to make it less monotonous.

Pros

Unlimited PTO and decent benefits. Wish the quality of the wine had been better.

Cons

As others have mentioned it was a bit of a toxic workplace with poor leadership at the end, but they were acquired and the business was absorbed into another company.
