Pros

- Fun place to work because of students and fellow employees - Opportunity to meet people from all over the world - Training and professional development opportunities - Pretty good teaching materials available (NatGeo)

Cons

- Upper management had no presence - No cohesive structure between education dept and other departments - All teachers were downsized because of the pandemic, and CEO never acknowledged us, thanked us for our service, or apologized - Were promised updates about when we might be hired back, but the in-person teaching was abolished and no one was hired back - Low pay and no benefits - No raise unless you kept earning higher degrees

Pros

We have a really great company culture and a strong team of talented, hard-working people. There are no office politics - everyone's on the same team and we all support each other. Everyone goes above and beyond. I really enjoy working with my colleagues and appreciate them. Bridge is a company that is truly working to make a difference and do good in the world. I find it very rewarding to know my hard work is serving a good cause. Bridge is also very innovative - it's exciting to get the chance to work on lots of interesting projects. There are many opportunities here to grow in your career and learn new skills. Bridge works to connect people with roles that fit their skillset and what they enjoy doing. I've gotten a lot of opportunities to take on new responsibilities and try out new things. It's also a company where your ideas and work are seen and appreciated, and you're able to see your contributions reflected right away. Also, professional development and learning are valued strongly and there are many opportunities to learn and agument your skills.

Cons

We have a lot of goals we're seeking to accomplish. With a smaller team, everyone wears a lot of hats and that can be overwhelming and stressful at time. Also, sometimes communication between teams could be better.
