Pros
I work full-time elsewhere & part-time for ADS and this was a great place to work as a part-time worker. I always felt I had the option to have a life outside of working when the time permitted. I felt the organization use to value it's employees and the flexibility within the call center was nice. I even had two weeks of vacation time to use but that all changed at the end of 2020. Feel like they are pushing part-time workers out. Currently, work from home is the only plus for ADS.
Cons
Part-time employees do not have the same benefits as full-time employees which I get as we aren't seen as valuable as full-time employees. ADS took away vacation time, stating they were slating it for sick time use to comply with state laws. Made a switch from vacation to a PTO policy at the end of 2020 with no advance notice to employees. Two weeks of vacation time taken away from Part-time employees and replaced with 6 hours of PTO time for the year if you had 2 - 4 years of service and 56hours of sick time. Part-time workers are expected to work 52 weeks a year without having any time off. 1st year as PT employee no PTO, if you work 20hrs - 24hrs per week in year 2-4 you get 6 hours of PTO for the year, years 5- 9 you get 28 hours of PTO, YES after 5 years you finally get a week off, what a scam. Took away the option to give your schedule away in order to have time off. Flexibility has diminished and if you want a life outside of ADS then this is not the place for you. BUT if you want to work until kingdom come by all means this is the place for you. The company is sucking the life out of employees.
