9yThanks for the feedback. It’s important for us to take stock and improve. It’s true that part of working here is having difficult conversations with clients but we think this is a valuable communication skill. We also strive to treat all of our clients with respect and lack of judgment since many of them are dealing with highly personal and sensitive issues.
One of our top three service objectives for 2017 is to improve efficacy and to help we’ve invested in positions related to more robust training and SEO R&D. As far as raises go, it’s very rare for team members not to receive a raise after a year. If they don’t, they are given goals to work toward before we make that adjustment.
While we we don’t invest heavily in perks like wall to wall snacks, fridges full of beer, etc. we have made some improvements to the environment recently:
- Catered lunch once a month from rotating local spots
- Healthy snacks, coffee, and tea ordered daily (NYC just got a new cold brew machine!)
- Employee of the month competition - as voted for by the employees! Prizes range from $100 gift cards, $250 hard cash to a $1000 office event in your honor
- Company sponsored happy hours - when we’ve earned them!
