Pros

The people really made the job worthwhile. People are generally fun and pleasant to work with (although staff has changed a bit since I was last there). The flexibility of work hours and great first level management made the job perfect for younger college kids (like myself at the time) who can't always commit to a set schedule due to school commitments. The pay was decent for a student and the work was very easy compared to many other college jobs. Upper management provided a stash of food every two weeks from Costco. The food was free and took care of my lunch almost everyday. As a poor college kid, I really appreciated the extra help. I never had any personal issues with upper management. I was generally treated very well and never felt 'singled out'. I think there was a mutual understanding that I was not a permanent or long term employee and I set my expectations accordingly.

Cons

There were really two tiers of employees. Those who were hourly, and those who were salary. As an hourly employee, I did not receive any medical, dental or retirement benefits. This was OK with me since I wasn't planning on staying there for longer than it took me to graduate college, but it wasn't the same for others. Many of those who worked hourly full-time for 5-6 years never saw any benefits. To make matters worse, newly hired hourly employees were offered benefits right away. Some of the work performed was way outside of the normal scope of work. Cleaning fridges, building things, going to hardware stores, etc. I won't go into detail but I didn't think the work was appropriate. Overall there was a general aura of dissatisfaction among non-management employees. Part of it was that employees felt undervalued. Upper management generally wasn't around very often and if often felt like they didn't really care. I spent over 5 years at the company and was able to see the progress... or I guess I should say lack of progress many employees faced. There were no promotions and pay stayed stagnant for years at a time. All that being said, I can't say that I'm surprised. My first impression of the job when I hired in was that the warehouse job would be a menial job. Everyone who worked in the warehouse (except for managers) were young college aged kids.
