Pros
*Career Trajectory & Acceleration: Two years out of MBA, I found myself presenting to-and building a relationship with a multi-billion dollar public company CEO, running projects with billions of dollars in value creation potential, and generally have an outsized impact *Supportive environment: I've consistently felt as though the people at BCG care about me & understand the needs of the whole me. With two young kids, I've appreciated the flexibility and understanding that when a kid is sick or needs something, work has to come second. *Flexibility: BCG consistently gives you the flexibility to do what you need to get the work done. I've never felt myself stuck in stupid processes or unnecessary paperwork the way I have in other jobs
Cons
*Intensity: Things at BCG move FAST...it can be a grind to keep up...very tiring. Especially in busy periods or if you end up on a couple of tough cases in a row *Complexity: BCG's gotten pretty big over the last couple of years and the complexity of trying to figure out what is happening where can be tough
