Pros
Good Benefits package Ability to Telework Decent pay for areas outside D.C. inside D.C. not so much. No Micromanaging
Cons
No micromanaging is an understatement. I am lucky if I see my Front Line Leader once a month. The Company is all about its recent IPO and was just treading water as far as everything else was concerned There are no bonuses for anybody but upper management If your Front Line Leader is not involved you are screwed their next level couldn't pick me out of a line up. All the "great place for a career" is smoke and mirrors The Company isn't winning new Gov't contracts and don't let them fool you the Gov't IS the client. With spending about to be cut I wouldn't try to make a career of BAH at this time. If you aren't billable you are out the door. Only Upper Management and Global OPPS team (Go Team) don't have to worry about the number of contracts. The so called opportunities to become involved are just silly socializing and almost fraternity/sorority like, if you try to get ahead on work ability alone you won't go far in this company. Evaluation time is just a witch hunt to find ways to not give you a raise (dependent on your FLL) The client is always right no matter what they try to tell you in the silly ethics class. If the client has a problem with you good luck.
