Boomies come from all around the world, and the start-up offers open doors for all kinds of nationalities. Boomset is known to provide visa sponsorships to all their beloved employees with open arms.
Healthcare and other benefits are above standards. We occasionally perform team building activities, go to team dinners and sometimes join our customers in their fun events. The company attracts Fortune 500 businesses, and it feels excellent to know that they appreciate our work.
Cons
Working with event planners can be hard sometimes. Event planners are known to be last minute, and they don't hesitate to call the account managers 24/7, even from their cell phones! The company attracts customers all around the world and time zones can be tricky for customer support in these cases.
The development team is in Istanbul. Even though they are all helpful and great people to work with, different time zones and separate offices can act as barriers. However, this works pretty well when we can use the timezone as a benefit. The requests that we put in by the end of the day can be fixed overnight and released before when we even come to the office the next day since Istanbul is 7 hours ahead of us.
Regardless of any small obstacles, I would highly recommend working @ Boomset!
