      Local Business, interesting atmosphere, cool opportunities

      Cons

      Charley Rejsek destroyed this company by attempts at union busting, deliberately installing incompetent people into power, bullying employees and spreading lies. Also taking down testaments to the community of employees to put up a shrine to herself.

      Pros

      Incredible coworkers, great events, great audiences, and strong, accessible management. You really do feel like part of a community.

      Cons

      Inconsiderate audience members- it happens, however rarely, but they are the only minor downside to the job.

      Pros

      One of my favorite jobs, mostly because of the people. But also, the books! And you're right next door to a lot of sick food options. There's definitely a lot of very smart, funny, genuine, quirky people that are great to be around.

      Cons

      Wish the pay was better. Props to the union folks who helped get some traction there.
