Pros
I've worked at a few agencies and have never had this combination of work/life balance, flexibility and senior staff who genuinely care about you. BOCA will pay you well, work with you so that you have time to live your life and genuinely listen to you if you have concerns. No job is perfect, but this is the best job I have had and would highly recommend it to someone burnt out at another agency or is looking to work somewhere with talented people who also know you have a life outside of the agency. Also the benefits are excellent. They pay for most of your healthcoverage!
Cons
BOCA is a startup in transition - a new office is about to open up in Union Square, some of the long-term employees have moved on (largely to jobs in-house or not at another agency) so things, like most agencies, are in flux The CEO is emotional, which can be good or bad. She is genuinely sad to see people go, or to see people upset. She is the kind of CEO who wears her heart on her sleeve and takes a personal and emotional interest in the company she has built and the people who work for her. For some people they love this, for others - she is too much. Almost a perfect 5star in my book- dings for Career Opportunites (small agency so there are opportunities but there is inherently less room for error and only so many senior positions) and Senior Management (CEO is either someone you work great with or someone who will make you uncomfortable, also the former HR person wasn't great but the new one has been fantastic so far.)
