Pros

Salary and Benefits are good, but it starts and stops there.

Cons

They know what they’re doing in a sense at the top in terms of real estate. They’re somewhat successful in turning profits, but they have a lot of money to throw at problems, so it washes in a sense. Their biggest problem is that they have no skillset in managing their personnel or what is required to do so, along with what it actually takes to make a project successful. The employees get things done, despite managements lack of acumen. There’s no acknowledgment when an employee is successful and goes out of their way / above and beyond to get things accomplished either. The reason for that is again, they have no idea what it takes to get something at the rolling up your sleeves and working level. They’re essentially very nice people, but they can’t get out of their own way. Hardly anyone stays around other than a few people at the top and that’s only because they’re comfortable and don’t believe they can do well elsewhere. The others that stay around are people that make up stories about people and spread them to the owners, because they fear they’ll be outshined. They do love a good brown noser over there and those brown nosers know exactly what to say to make their competition go away. Again, it’s good money and benefits, but their decision making, lack of good management and true understanding will make your head spin. The adage that good people leave good jobs, because of poor management applies here in spades.
