Great for kids, not for employees - BCBA Clinical Supervisor BlueSprig Employee Review

Pros

BlueSprig has an excellent RBT training program. They offer a lot of CEUs plus a yearly online company conference.

Cons

The bottom line is paramount. Billable hours are the highest priority and must be met even considering vacation, conferences, holidays, etc. Deadlines are unreasonable; treatment plans are due months before the end of the auth to go through layers of critique which has different requirements for each reviewer, no set standard. Clinic is run by Admin, not a Clinical professional, so decisions are based on efficiency and financial gain instead of what’s best for the kids. A lot of lip service to their wonderful list of values but not where the rubber meets the road.

Pros

Ethics committee, training team supportive, amazing RBTs

Cons

Leadership ACD/CD unethical, lack of transparency, poor communication, lack of knowledge regarding OSHA/company policies/Title 17&22, RBTs expressed concerns not being met by leadership and feelings of discrimination. Pay was not competitive and center was using old school ABA methods and restraints/control methods to support challenging behaviors. Parents were not informed when restraints were used on child.
