Pros
Great work life balance. Inclusive company culture. Plenty of career development, outreach, and diversity resource group opportunities. Low stress. Good pay. Free snacks, drinks, and coffee. Many company sponsored events. Decent 401k. Education benefits include up to $10k a year of reimbursement. Dog friendly and sometimes family friendly. Lots of cool little science projects to get involved with. Mostly good and open-minded people to work with. Pay is competitive in the aerospace industry.
Cons
Many leaders only care about what makes them look good, even at the cost of the mission. Many aren't qualified to be leaders, don't have the technical depth, and leave a lot of the business work to the engineers to do, in addition to the engineering. There isn't really a focused mission beyond "millions of people living in space." All of this contributes to a lack of focus on delivering results and frustrated engineers. Some of this is likely growing pains as the company continues to grow.
