Pros

The people are great and they were generous with gifts for your first day/birthday, etc.

Cons

I've never worked at an organization with so much turnover in such a short period of time. Within 6 months, the ENTIRE sales team turned over (people quitting and a few dismissals...which were VERY questionable in nature). 3 sales leaders in a year, plus lots of turnover recently in other departments - apparently this has happened in the past too. The company doesn't appear to be concerned that this is an issue, and defers blame to the individual vs trying to understand the why. The sales leadership is very unprofessional and demands the team to complete unnecessary projects last minute, which adds additional stress to the team. They plays favourites and talks about other sales reps behind their backs. They claim to want to make things fair and set things right, but their actions speak differently. The pay structure COULD be fruitful if it was a decent product to sell, but no one has ever come close to hitting their annual target. My advice to anyone interviewing: do you due diligence and ask WHY has their been so much turnover. The product has potential, but with an upcoming recession, it will be that much more challenging to sell something that is "nice to have".

Pros

People here take the job seriously, but not themselves too seriously. There's a lot of growth and quite a few people making sure we keep the great culture along the way. Very cool technology too.

Cons

Some people were around before the high growth and maybe it's no longer a fit for them so there's been some turnover.

Pros

This is the best job I will ever have, it is such an incredible time to be part of this company. Overall it is just a great company to work for. Blue J still has the exciting start-up energy, but is mature enough to function properly. The work is topical and impactful. The people are nice and genuinely want to do well, huge teamwork environment. Pay is solid, benefits are incredible, work life balance is great. Simply put the vibes are great.

Cons

It is a startup and in a relatively new industry, so there is always a little uncertainty about the future with that, but it is absolutely worth the tradeoff
